Hi Glenda, happy to see a new post from you.
New home? A move for you? Where is this home, and you no longer live in you 500 year old home?
When you wrote that your walls are bare of art I didn't mind much, in fact there was a modern country side feel to it and oh so peaceful. I have very little art on my walls letting each piece have a voice against the backdrop of white.
Love you soothing style.
A beautiful weekend to you, would love to see more layout of your new home.
Xx
Doré
Hi Dore! Yes we sold our 500 year old house and moved into a brand new one! It still has beams (new oak), a wood burning stove, an oak porch and that contemporary country feel as you say. It's quite a change and we adore every inch of it!!! It's in a tiny village quite close to our old home and is so peaceful - but more to follow!! Thank you so much for your lovely messages - Warmest wishes - Glenda
Thank you beautiful Glenda for gracing your beauty over at my place, and taking the time to comment joyed my heart.
I have you on my sidebar of inspiration and when I see a new post from you I run right over looking to you for a little inspiration I can steal from you.
Love the grain chest at the foot of your bed and that darker shade of white to your bed is breathtakingly soothing to the soul of your new home.
I will be so looking forward to all the up-styling you have added to your new home and the life you are breathing into it.
A happy weekend that inspires you.

Quelles belles photos !
La lanterne a en effet sa place dans toutes les pièces de la maison. Je l'ai particulièrement bien aimée associée au très beau coffre en bois ancien;
Belle soirée

I love the idea of carrying the lantern theme throughout the house the way you did. And by the way, your new home is gorgeous!
I love lanterns too! I have big lantern plans for inside and outside the house.Your new house looks devine, so peaceful and tranquil xx
I really love your home. Your designing is just perfect. You also have an eye for detail and no element is superfluous. Anyway, that candle lamp is really gorgeous and I also want something like it. I could just imagine how beautiful it would even be when lit at night. Thank you for sharing this post.
