Height: 120cm Spread: 20cm

A fast-growing horsetail that has unbranched stems with rough black ribs which slightly constrict the stem. As a clump forming evergreen it provides useful winter interest and its slightly pre-historic/tropical look makes a stylish architectural statement in the garden.  It has a vigorous growing habit and is best with a constrained root. Grow in pots/planters above ground or within several sizes of containers below ground to restrict the rhizomes.
