Eating trufles at Le Chateau de Moissac : so delightful !
a style a particulartly like! artistic and some kind of minimalistic interiors : )
So peaceful and beautiful... I just love textures so bleached wood, distressed paint work then outside lichen and rust are all a delight to me
great selection of images, I love the natural, rustic feel of them.

This dusty palette as you so aptly referred to it, is one of my personal favorites, its so timeless, elegant and GORGEOUS!! BTW added you to my blog roll this morning, love coming here!!
Glenda,
What a marvellous post!! All the images are so well chosen! So serene and peacefull all together! You have such a good eye for beauty!!
I have to discover all the mentionned sources! Hugs and kisses,

Another exquisite post. You are spoiling us with so many breath-taking images.
Wishing you joy and I will wear linen today as the temperature is going to be 38 celcius in the city!!

Gorgeous images! I love this palette, too. Wish I could figure out how to incorporate it with the darker woods in my house. Lovely post, as usual :)
Oh thank you so much for such lovely comments!
Also Carolyn, have a look at this post: http://thepapermulberry.blogspot.com/2011/07/500-year-old-farmhouse-full-of-french.html
We have used this colour palette extensively throughout our home combined with dark woods. I do think the contrast can be divine!
I adore the chalky colors too. I also am in love with all the wonderful texture and patina in each photo. Thanks for all the beautiful eye candy!
Such gorgeous pieces in my favourite chalky colour. I have to say that those are the only starburst mirrors I've seen that I like :)
Glenda every time I view one of your posts it nearly brings tears to my eyes. I gaze in wonder at the beauty of the images, they are like works of art. Timeless and exquisite. Interiors for all time.
I love this post, naturel tones are exquisite, i find much serenity in these pictures.
I really can't thank you enough for such kind and wonderful compliments!
Oh my Good :)

Such beautiful samples here! I love your collages. These old finishes are exquisite.
I love so many of these pieces: the sculpture of the naked torso, the long coffee table, the female santo, those starburst mirrors. What a great melange of beauties you've put together. Lovely!

I just love the serene, relaxing feel of this color palette. You always have the most beautiful posts...love visiting!!
I don't know how it is that I haven't found you sooner! Thank goodness for Pinterest! Your collection of colors, textures and patinas...pure perfection. Your thoughtfulness and talent shines through! Many of your images remind me of the reasons I fell in love with Provence. And I love that you included some images from Cateau Domingue; it's one of the most inspiring shops we have in Houston.
I'll be back for sure!
Xo,
Linsey
I definitely need to re-read this again and admire!
I love the chalky finishes, too. They have character! That's one reason I really like the limewash paints. Chalkiness galore and with the dark colors, even though you would think they'd read dark, really don't because of the chalkiness.
I just love the serenity of these soft chalky colours and the pictures you've chosen to illustrate this look could not be more perfect! Have a lovely weekend. x Sharon T
although my home is nothing like any of the ones you share on your blog, i literally melt at each photo. these are my "dream spaces". sigh...

Hi Glenda,
I have a beautiful French consolle I inherited from my beloved Granny, and I'd like to paint it exactly that way, or in an aged pale blue- grey shade (it's gilded at the moment). Not totally sure how to though- can you suggest an on-line tutorial?
Your selection is gorgeous and inspiring, as usual.
Have a happy week ahead!
Monica x.

Hello !
All is beautiful ! Thanks a lot !
Have a nice day !
Céline.
Don't know how I missed this one,but these images take my breath away. I love crusty chalky paint finishes. Just silly, but they really make my heart beat faster. Too bad my husband doesn't feel the same way. A lot of compromise has to go on there.
