|| KITCHEN 1 | CONTEMPORARY TIMELESS

With a contemporary palette of black and Rift Sawn white oak, marbled quartz and gold detailing combined with more traditional Shaker styling and glazed display cabinets, this stunning kitchen stopped me in my tracks the minute I spotted it on Pinterest! Although not an interior designer, blogger Shauna from 'The House of Silver Lining' knew just what she required from her kitchen in her new home 'The Forest Modern'. With 2 integrated dishwashers, 2 sinks and 2 islands and butler's pantry the following  photo's show the results of this stunning, contemporary yet timeless kitchen.

Above image: The House of Silver Lining the gilt globe pendant lights add a glamorous touch to the design and the cupboard on the left in white Rift sawn oak with brass hardware houses the fridge and freezer.
Above image: The House of Silver Lining the second island can seat 10 people but yet still includes recessed cupboard storage. Again the use of velvet and gold for the bar/counter stools add glamour to this beautiful space.

|| JANEY BUTLER INTERIORS

I have been a huge fan of Janey Butler's sublime interiors for many years now, with a palette of soft chalky tones and tactile materials she is known for her exceptional signature style and meticulous attention to detail. Inspired by the beauty found in nature Janey uses elements such as rare and petrified woods, stone and soft earthy palettes to create her unique designs. With a combination of understated luxury and rustic elements, her designs are both contemporary and timeless.
