Heavenly billowing drapes, rustic linen, fresh crisp white cotton, decadent silk and velvet combine with ornate crystal chandeliers and antique gilt furniture for the most romantic styling. Simple shades of putty, dove and chalk create a restful, elegant palette for any bedroom. Whilst rich tones of damson, verdigris & olive add drama and decadence.

Hello,
Such gorgeous images! I love them all. Beautiful color palettes. I don't believe I could select a favorite...they are all my favorite!
I wanted to also let you know you have a beautiful blog and I have added you to my blog list and will be a follower. I hope you will stop by for a visit to mine sometime. I will definitely be back for many more visits.

Hello Kris! Thank you so much and welcome! I will be delighted to pop along to your blog, I love finding new blogs! Warmest wishes - Glenda
The first one is really lovely!
As luck would have it the first bedroom is exactly the colours chosen for ours - I am adding duck egg blue accents.
Will reveal all when I have painted the furniture.
Will borrow a few ideas!
I can't wait for the next in the series you are helping me decorate my house!
These are just beautiful... And i really appreciate the way you labeled everything so that i could find the fabrics, and more information.
Thanks!
Cindy
I'm so glad you like these as much as I do, this style has been a huge influence on our decorating here. Actually Cindy I may do another separate post on fabrics as I have so many more that I have found when searching for our house. Warmest wishes - Glenda xxx
Oh and just a note - I'm not sure my 'subscribe via email' button is working, I am trying to fix it, but if anyone has been kind enough to subscribe and has received an update could you let me know? I would be so grateful! Warmest of wishes - Glenda xxx

Could you please add a new label "chicken soup" to your posts: I am home sick today and looking at your post is like having chicken soup...I feel warmed and revived. Again, I am just loving the colour swatches and groupings...I couldn't being to choose a favourite as they are all divine! Bet you never thought you would get compared to chicken soup!! :-D

Glenda, thank-you so much for your aweet comment on my blog today. I get excited as well when I am inspired by something, particularly if it is a dilemma I have been pondering for a while. Love your post today. I adore the linens and checks and muted colors. a daybed is absolutely one of my favorites pieces of furniture. have a great evening. Mona

I can almost imagine spending the night in one of these beautiful bedrooms. Then, being woken in the morning by the servants bringing warm french pastries and coffee.
My own bedroom indulgence is good white bedlinen. There may be a little lace trim or a ribbon piping, but otherwise it will be pure white linen or cotton. I hate those stretchy bottom sheets and non-iron synthetic duvet covers. Call it my Marie Antoinette weakness.
Anna
Hi Glenda!!
I love this bedrooms, so much romance!!
I would love if you do a fabric post, I have a weakness for materials and fabrics so looking forward for your post!!
